We would like to inform you about the introduction of Administrative Decision No. 2 of 2023 on the Transparency of Local Sea Container Charges in Dubai. Effective from 1 August 2023, this decision aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and competitiveness within Dubai’s maritime sector, benefitting Beneficial Cargo Owners (BCOs).

Key highlights include:

1. Service providers must publish their local sea container charges on their websites within 30 days.
2. Service providers can file amendments through the Dubai Trade platform.
3. Charges for services like Terminal Handling and Truck Loading will be invoiced separately by the Port Operator.
4. All Delivery Orders will be issued digitally via the Dubai Trade Digital Delivery platform.
